F-500 Encapsulator Agent_Ethanol and Ethanol Blended Fuels
Based on the production and supply of Ethanol and Ethanol Blended Fuels, there is a paradigm shift taking place in the municipal fire department market which greatly benefits F-500 Encapsulator Agent. The situation is that AFFF foam is not adequate for these Ethanol applications; therefore, the entire foam industry, including ourselves who produce Pinnacle Foam, are guiding municipal fire departments from a non effective $19.95/gallon AFFF to a $29.95/gallon AR-AFFF. F-500 Encapsulator agent which can both encapsulate and extinguish Ethanol and Ethanol Blended Fuels is positioned as more cost effective than AR-AFFF. Due to performance coupled with tight budgets this positions F-500 Encapsulator Agent as the Municipal Fire Department Product of Choice.

Clean Energy Myths
Clean Energy Myth #1
MYTH: A common misperception is that energy companies have no intention of investing in clean energy, so government programs must do the heavy lifting
FACT: U.S.- based oil and gas companies have spent over $121 billion from 2000 through 2007 on new energy technologies in the North American market, says the Energy Information Administration.
Performance Review of Hydrosynthetic® Heat Transfer Oil & Heat Transfer System Flush in Hot Oil System
Prior to 2008, this North Carolina facility had been experiencing system performance concerns on their hot oil embossing process. Besides uneven heat distribution, there were concerns due to leaking seals and the toxic nature of their HTO fluid. Worker safety concerns had mandated multiple production shutdowns due to leaking fluid.
After reviewing all the parameters and customer goals, the Hydrotex® Technical Team developed a program to effectively remove all of the oil, flush and refill the system in order to bring it up to operating conditions over a three day weekend. Continue reading

Blower Oil Reduces Energy Usage and Costs
In 2009 and 2010 Hydrotex® worked with a large milling operation to develop Energy Saving Hydrosynthetic® Blower Oil. It provides reduced energy costs, extends lubricant lifecycles and reduces waste in pneumatic conveying rotary lobe blower applications. A major concern was the performance and downtime of the positive displacement blowers used to transport product throughout the mill. Blower downtime is very costly and repairs are expensive. Landscape Concepts Unit 166
Landscape Concepts (LC), located in Grayslake, Illinois operates a diverse fleet of landscape equipment that includes approximately 500 units. These units include pickup trucks, wheel loaders and commercial lawnmowers. Landscape Concepts was initially intrigued with Hydrotex® products and the concept of extended service intervals; the cost analysis indicated that the Hydrotex Lubrication Management Process could substantially reduce operating costs and streamline the preventive maintenance (PM) program. LC began using Hydrotex Hydrosynthetic® Engine oil in 2002. Prior to this, LC was operating with a PM program designed around utilizing conventional engine oil and conducting 3,500 mile service intervals. Continue reading
